Bio
I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Gretchen Seffron, and I am currently a Special Education teacher for students with educational and social/emotional needs in Parker, Colorado. I am also a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). A majority of my current responsibility is to maintain a positive connection with all parties involved to ensure success in the individuals social/emotional growth.
My Story
I am from the Western Slope, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Science from Colorado Mesa University. I have lived in Littleton with my husband, Bob Seffron, a South Metro Firefighter, for over 25 years. I earned my Master's in Education, along with a teaching certificate and a Special Education Endorsement, from Regis University. For the past twenty-plus years, I have worked as a General Education classroom teacher and a Learning Specialist, where I have been exposed to students in grades K-6 and taught students with diverse learning styles. I also have experience in teaching gifted and talented curriculum and differentiating instruction for twice-exceptional students.
My overall goal is to develop a great relationship with my clients and their parents to ensure that my time will be purposeful in meeting their social/emotional needs. I look forward to meeting with all of you. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
